Give it a Shot

I saw this quote on Pinterest this morning:

"If you do not go after what you want, you'll never have it."

I have decided to take my first step into the blog world. :) I love finding ways to express myself and I think this will be a fun way to keep track of our adventures and share them with our family and friends. I have been wanting to join the blog world for quite sometime now, but I was worried. Would I have time to write? What would I write about? Would people even read? After reading that this morning, I decided no more excuses...it's time to just go for it! Even if no one reads, I think I will have fun and enjoy writing about our adventures.

First things first:

Hi! My name is Katie. I am a newly married, adventure loving girl. I work Human Resource by day, but by night I'm a lover of all things Disney, DIY/crafting, projects, painting, and decorating! I married my highschool sweetheart, Jon this past year (Aug 2013) at the Happiest Place on Earth. <- Bet you thought I was exaggerating when I said I was a lover of all things Disney :)

We have been together for almost 9 years and have already had many fun experiences together. We've attended different colleges, transferred to the same college, and even participated in the Disney College Program (2008). Now that we are married, there will be many new adventures and experiences along the way.
